This shot was taken less then a second before the goal was scored. Some of the fans in the background are already reacting with a slight "ohh" expression. The goalie has a look of defeat in his eyes. 

Whenever I look at this picture I'm immediately reminded of this song from my childhood.

Look at all the smiles this hockey brawl produced in the crowd.
